Laura Linney is an American actress, who is famous for her portrayal of strong and vulnerable characters. Linney was raised in an actor's family, like her father, Romulus Linney is a playwright. Linney graduated from Arts Theatre School, Moscow in the year 1986. She then completed an M.F.A. at Juilliard School. New York City 1990. The actress began performing in the city on Broadway receiving awards for her performances in roles like Six Degrees of Separation or Hedda Galer.
