Their punk rock sound and raunchy songs made them famous in the world of rock. The group did not make it on the scene in The United States, but gained immense popularity in the world. Ford's solo heavy metal career proved successful following the split of the band. After studying voice, Ford released her solo debut album "Out for Blood", followed by "Dancin on the Edge". Her albums weren't very successful, so she disappeared for a couple of years. In 1988, Ford released her groundbreaking success album , 'Lita.' Kiss Me Deadly and Close My Eyes Forever Both of which became huge hit, are two examples. The success of her music was not lasting since she went under the radar for many years. Her release of "Black" in 1995 was followed by 'Wicked Wonderland, almost 15 year following. The album she released in 2016, titled 'Time Capsule. The singer was honored with The Certified Guitar Legend Award by Guitar Player Magazine.
