Dina Meyer was born and raised in Forest Hills, Queens, New York, but moved to Dix Hills, Long Island in the last term of junior high. She has two younger siblings as well as an elder brother. It was her first position within the business. She did it from the age of 9 to 16. She started her acting training with The Neighborhood Playhouse in New York, where she studied the acting skills of Sanford Meisner together alongside Ron Stetson, for about three years. Sandra Bullock has received the similar training received by Jeff Goldblum and Leslie Nielsen. When she moved to Los Angeles, she got her first lead role in Beverly Hills,90210. In the next few months, she landed the role as Johnny Mnemonic. For this film, she was in charge for almost all the stunts and showed herself to be an experienced actress. Her agent for talent was also representing Matt LeBlanc so, through her agent, she was able to get a regular role on Friends.
